Q. How often are my site's statistics updated?

A. Every 24 hours.

Q. I don't want anyone but me to be able to access my site's statistics. Can you restrict access to them?

A. We can restrict access to your statistics a few different ways. Contact us to arrange this. A nominal service charge may apply.

Q. My site's statistics show a recurring 404 (page not found) error on a file called robots.txt. I don't have this file in my site - do I need it and what does it do?

A. The robots.txt file is used by search engines when they attempt to index your site. You can control what pages and folders of your site are indexed by the search engines with a properly configured robots.txt file in the root folder of your site. If your site does not have a robots.txt file, your site statistics will register a 404 (page not found) error each time a search engine comes looking for it, and the search engine will then attempt to index all of the contents of your site.

Q. Is it possible for you to customize my site's statistics by filtering out certain IP addresses, site filenames, or file types?

A. Yes. Please contact us to arrange this. A nominal service charge may apply.
