- any specifics you have in mind for the visual design/layout
- any existing branding/logos, colour schemes etc.
- photos and other content
- ongoing site maintenance and/or content updates
- search engine optimization and submission
- any other questions you may have
- After this initial meeting we will begin work on your site. This includes securing your website's domain name, setting up your web hosting account, and providing you with a mock-up of your new site in order to give you an impression of its design and layout. This mock-up is typically provided within 1-2 weeks.
- You review the mock-up and provide your feedback. We will be happy to meet with you to go over the mock-up if you wish. Any revisions you request will be made, and a revised mock-up will be provided to you. Once again, we can meet with you to go over the details at that time.
- Once you have approved the final mock-up we will proceed on making the site functional, implementing all of the features and content you have requested, and testing for compliance with different web browsers. The time this takes varies depending on the complexity of the site, but typically within 4-8 weeks your site will be completed. We will periodically make contact with you and provide site progress reports if you wish.
- Once we have your site tested and fully functional we will ask you to review it prior to its final launch on the internet.
- Once you have approved the site, we will perform final search engine optimization tasks, upload your site to the server it's hosted on, and submit it to the search engines.
- Your site is now ready to be viewed at www.yourcompany.com!
- We highly recommend that you promote your site wherever and whenever possible. On your letterhead, email, and in any advertising you may do including print, radio, or tv, business cards, flyers, brochures, etc.
- When your site needs updated content, features, or a fresh look just let us know and we can pick up right from where we last worked on it for you and make any changes you need smoothly and efficiently.
